Guangji Hu received his BEng in Biochemical Engineering from Wuhan University, China, in 2007, his MSc in Environmental Science from Wuhan University, China, in 2010, and his PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada, in 2016. Guangji works on many different environmental engineering projects for the LCML. His research falls within the field of environmental and human health risk assessment, including chemical hazard assessment in unconventional gas production processes and human health risk assessment of arsenic and manganese in drinking water. Guangji worked at an Environmental Consulting company in China as an Environmental Engineer from 2010 to 2011 and was a Research Associate at the University of Northern British Columbia for six months before joining the LCML.
