Hassan Iqbal received his BSc in Mechanical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2000, and his MSc in Engineering Management from the same university in 2004. For his PhD thesis, Hassan developed an assessment and continuous performance improvement framework for oil and gas pipeline integrity management programs (IMP). The framework is an innovative approach to assess IMP effectiveness and its integration with safety culture from a regulatory perspective. Hassan also has 17 years of experience in various roles as an entrepreneur, manufacturing engineer, project engineer, production engineer, and researcher, in oil and gas, manufacturing, and academia.
