Nazila Shamloo received her BSc in Applied Chemistry from the Tehran Azad University, Iran, in 2012. Nazila’s current research focuses on hydraulic fracturing wastewater management. Her research involves performing a life cycle assessment for various management strategies, providing valuable information during the decision-making process. The main objective of this research is to select an optimized strategy with minimum cost and environmental impact to handle oil and gas wastewater. Nazila previously worked on a project for the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry related to applying nanotechnology in wastewater treatment. She also has two years of experience in the Pollution Control Department in an acid manufacturing plant and a year in the Commercial Department supplying equipment for the petrochemical industry.
